DATA ANALYST

Are you a curious and analytical Data Analyst? Join our team and support data-driven decision-making processes. As a Data Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to provide insights that drive business strategies. Your ability to work with large datasets, apply statistical techniques, and communicate findings effectively will contribute to the success of our data-driven initiatives.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and business objectives.
  • Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
  • Apply statistical techniques and data visualisation tools to uncover insights from the data.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Conduct hypothesis testing and A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies.
  • Assist in data quality assessment and data cleansing activities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in data analysis.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. Relevant work experience can be considered.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of data analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn).
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing exploratory data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex data.
  • Strong communication skills to convey findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
