IT SUPPORT ENGINEER

Are you a customer-focused and technically proficient IT Support Engineer? Join our team and provide exceptional technical assistance to our staff and users. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in resolving technology-related issues, setting up and maintaining hardware and software, and ensuring smooth IT operations. Your expertise in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and effective communication will be pivotal in supporting our technology environment.


Responsibilities:


  1. Provide prompt and efficient technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  2. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application-related issues.
  3. Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals.
  4. Assist with setting up and configuring workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
  5. Troubleshoot network connectivity and wireless access problems.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges.
  7. Document technical issues, solutions, and troubleshooting steps.
  8. Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of IT assets and equipment.
  9. Educate users about technology best practices and provide training as needed.
  10. Stay updated about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT support.


Qualifications:


  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant work experience can be considered.
  2. Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of IT systems and support.
  3. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  4. Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems.
  5. Knowledge of network protocols, connectivity, and basic network troubleshooting.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  7. Strong communication skills to provide clear and effective technical assistance.
  8. Customer-focused mindset with a strong dedication to delivering exceptional support.
  9. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  10. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
