SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:


Social Media Strategy and Planning:


  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of social media strategies, aligning them with business objectives, target audience, and industry dynamics.
  • Uncover social media opportunities and trends via market research and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to harmoniously integrate social media strategies into holistic marketing initiatives.
  • Define clear goals and objectives for social media campaigns, crafting KPIs and metrics to gauge success.


Content Creation and Curation:


  • Originate captivating and pertinent content for social media platforms, spanning text, images, videos, and graphics.
  • Curate and share impactful content from authoritative sources to augment brand credibility and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with design and creative teams, co-creating visually alluring and shareable social media assets.
  • Maintain consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all social media channels.


Social Media Management:


  • Assume responsibility for nurturing and managing social media accounts across diverse platforms – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more.
  • Skillfully schedule and publish social media posts, ensuring the regular and coherent flow of content.
  • Monitor social media conversations, respond promptly and professionally to comments and inquiries.
  • Foster active engagement with the online community, forging positive relationships and steering brand-driven conversations.


Social Media Advertising and Promotion:


  • Engineer and enact paid social media advertising campaigns to heighten brand visibility, expand reach, and cultivate leads.
  • Optimise ad targeting, budget allocation, and ad design to extract maximum effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Scrutinise and interpret social media advertising performance, generating insights and prescriptions for enhancements.


Analytics and Reporting:


  • Leverage social media analytics tools to track and quantify key performance indicators – reach, engagement, conversion rates, and more.
  • Generate regular reports on social media performance, showcasing insights and actionable recommendations for betterment.
  • Stay attuned to the shifting currents of social media trends, algorithm shifts, and optimal practices to ensure competitive standing.



Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in roles like Social Media Coordinator, Social Media Specialist, or analogous positions.
  • Comprehensive grasp of social media platforms, trends, and superlative practices.
  • Potent communication skills in both writing and speech, adept at fashioning compelling social media content.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools and scheduling platforms.
  • Familiarity with social media advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager or LinkedIn Ads.
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics tools like Facebook Insights or Twitter Analytics.
  • Creative aptitude, conjuring innovative ideas for riveting social media content.
  • Robust organisational abilities for managing multiple platforms and meeting deadlines.
  • Self-reliance, adept at prioritising tasks and thriving in fast-paced environments.
