BUSINESS ANALYST

Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
• Process Improvement: Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Documentation: Translate business needs into clear and comprehensive functional and technical specifications.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements align with project objectives.
• Project Planning: Assist in project planning, scope definition, and estimation of resources and timelines.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather insights and elicit requirements.
• Use Cases and User Stories: Develop use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams to guide development efforts.
• Communication: Ensure clear communication of requirements between technical and non-technical teams.
• Testing and Validation: Assist in testing and validation of project deliverables to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Success Criteria: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track project success criteria and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant work experience can be considered.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of project requirements gathering and analysis.
• Proficiency in requirements elicitation techniques, such as workshops, interviews, and use case development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex business challenges.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and processes.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to create clear and concise documentation of business requirements and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
