HEAD OF SOCIAL & CONTENT

As the Head of Social & Content, you will lead the symphony of our brand's digital presence, conducting social media and content initiatives that resonate to elevate brand visibility, connect with target audiences, and inspire profound customer engagement. Your conductor's baton will guide the development and execution of harmonious social media and content strategies. Managing a team of content creators and social media virtuosos, you'll ensure the consistent delivery of impactful content across diverse platforms. Responsibilities:


Social Media and Content Strategy:


  • Craft and execute comprehensive social media and content strategies attuned to business objectives, target personas, and industry currents.
  • Embark on expeditions of market research, competitor analysis, and audience insights to unveil content gems and navigate the waters of social media trends.
  • Choreograph a collaborative dance with the marketing ensemble, aligning social media and content strategies with the grand narrative of marketing initiatives.
  • Score goals, objectives, and KPIs into the symphony of each social media and content opus.


Team Management and Leadership:


  • Ascend as the maestro, leading and nurturing a team of content creators, social media specialists, and fellow artisans, lending guidance, feedback, and unwavering support.
  • Cultivate an ecosystem of innovative collaboration, igniting camaraderie, catalysing innovation, and nurturing the seeds of continuous learning.
  • With a steady hand on the baton, set destinations, conduct periodic assessments, and infuse the symphony of success with mentorship and feedback.

Content Creation and Management:


  • Direct the creation of a harmonious array of content: lyrical narratives, visual crescendos, multimedia harmonies, and more.
  • Guard the sanctity of brand messaging, voice, and visual identity, ensuring they reverberate consistently through each composition.
  • Collaborate with internal storytellers, subject matter sages, and external maestros to compose content with resonant melodies.
  • Guide content calendars, from inception and composition to the refined choreography of editing, proofreading, and presentation.


Social Media Management and Engagement:


  • Steer the course of social media vessels, navigating the currents of platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Craft social media symphonies, orchestrating campaigns that crescendo brand awareness, extend reach, and evoke engagement.
  • Tend to the social media stage with grace, engaging in conversations, responding adeptly to comments and inquiries, upholding professional conduct.
  • Cultivate community connections, nurture positive relationships, and incite dialogues that harmonize with our brand's melodies.


Analytics and Performance Measurement:


  • Arm yourself with social media and web analytics instruments, interpreting the performance melodies of reach, engagement, conversions, and audience demographics.
  • Synthesise these data melodies into harmonious insights, guiding the perpetual tuning of social media and content strategies.
  • Compose performance narratives in reports, unveiling insights, sketching trends, and authoring blueprints for optimisation.
  • Remain attuned to industry symphonics, resonating with evolving social media and content trends, algorithmic shifts, and benchmarks.


Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional symphonies, including marketing, design, product, and leadership, harmonising social media and content strategies with business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external performers such as agencies, vendors, and partners, adding orchestral depth to social media and content initiatives.
  • Remain attuned to industry notes, emerging technologies, and best practices in social media and content orchestration.


Experience:


  • Hold a diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or related disciplines.
  • Boast a track record as the Head of Social/Content, Social Media Manager, Content Manager, or similar leadership roles.
  • Showcase a profound command of social media platforms, content marketing strategies, trends, and best practices.
  • Possess an eloquent quiver, wielding language with precision and demonstrating an eye for grammatical harmony.
  • Exhibit strategic vision, orchestrating the development and execution of social media and content symphonies.
  • Command proficiency in social media management tools, content management systems (CMS), and analytics platforms.
  • Display expertise in social media advertising platforms, such as Facebook Ads Manager or LinkedIn Ads.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with SEO principles and the choreography of content optimization.
  • Radiate leadership charisma, motivating and inspiring diverse teams.
  • Juggle multiple movements of projects and deadlines within the tempo of a fast-paced environment.
  • Embrace meticulous organisation, attentive to even the quietest notes of detail.
  • Excel in cross-functional collaboration, conducting harmonious dialogues with teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
