PRODUCT DESIGN LEAD

Responsibilities:


  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Design Vision: Define and communicate the product design vision and strategy, aligning with business goals and user needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and design specifications.
  • User-Centered Solutions: Develop user-centered design solutions, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • User Research: Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback gathering to inform design decisions and iterate on design solutions.
  • Consistent User Experience: Ensure a cohesive and consistent user experience across different products, features, and platforms.
  • Development Alignment: Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide guidance.
  • Effective Communication: Present and communicate design concepts, strategies, and outcomes to stakeholders and team members.
  • Innovation Driver: Stay up-to-date with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the design team.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Lead design workshops, brainstorming sessions, and team discussions to encourage creative problem-solving and collaboration.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and ensure high-quality designs are delivered on time.


Qualifications:


  • Educational Background: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrate your experience as a Product Design Lead or in a similar leadership role, showcasing design projects and leadership skills.
  • Mentorship Experience: Exhibit the ability to lead and mentor a design team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and growth.
  • Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • User-Centered Proficiency: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices in interaction design.
  • Research Competence: Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and user-centered design processes.
  • Front-End Awareness: Knowledge of front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS) and responsive design principles.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Possess strategic thinking and the ability to align design initiatives with business objectives.
  • Problem-Solving Prowess: Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset to address design challenges.
  • Time Management: Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
