ANDROID DEVELOPER

Are you an experienced and passionate Android Developer looking to join our mobile development team? Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and design specifications.
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications using the latest development technologies and best practices.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following coding standards and guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionality.
Participate in architectural design discussions, offering insights and suggestions for improvements.
Optimise application performance, ensuring responsiveness and smooth user experiences.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Collaborate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback from peers.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of coding standards and best practices.
Keep track of industry best practices and contribute fresh ideas to enhance mobile application development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience can be considered.
Proven experience as an Android Developer, with a portfolio of completed Android applications.
Proficiency in Java or Kotlin programming languages for Android development.
Experience with Android Studio and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong understanding of the Android app lifecycle, UI components, layouts, and design patterns.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integration of external services.
Knowledge of mobile app architecture patterns such as MVVM or MVP.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in writing clean and maintainable code.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
