NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

Are you a tech-savvy individual with a passion for network management and security? Join our team as a Network Administrator and play a crucial role in maintaining our network infrastructure. Responsibilities:

Network Management: Configure and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Network Security: Implement and manage security measures to protect our network from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to minimise downtime.
Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance, traffic, and security alerts.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of network configurations and changes.
Upgrades and Updates: Perform network upgrades and apply patches and updates as needed.
User Support: Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues.
Vendor Communication: Liaise with network equipment vendors and service providers as necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+) are a plus.
Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of network protocols, security, and best practices.
Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless equipment.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of network monitoring tools and techniques.
Familiarity with network backup and recovery procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for user support.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
