QA ENGINEER

Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Engineer ready to join our quality assurance team? Join us in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and quality control processes. Your expertise in testing methodologies and commitment to high-quality software will contribute to the success of our projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
  • Perform manual testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing to identify defects and ensure software functionality.
  • Execute automated tests using testing frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency.
  • Report and track defects using issue tracking systems, and provide detailed defect reports to developers.
  • Validate and verify bug fixes and new features, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the software development and testing processes.
  • Participate in code reviews to provide insights from a quality assurance perspective.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the overall quality of software products.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging testing tools.
  • Provide timely updates on testing progress, challenges, and results to project stakeholders.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience can be considered.
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies.
  • Familiarity with manual testing, automated testing, and performance testing.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Knowledge of defect tracking systems and version control systems (e.g., Jira, Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and reporting defects.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey testing results and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Enthusiasm for staying updated with the latest testing trends, tools, and best practices.
