END USER COMPUTER ENGINEER

Are you technically proficient and customer-focused? Join our team as an End User Computer Engineer and play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and security of end-user computing devices. As an End User Computer Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting computers, laptops, and mobile devices for our staff. Your expertise in computer hardware, software, and user support will be pivotal in providing a seamless and productive technology experience for our end users.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with end users to understand their technology needs and requirements.
Set up and configure computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals for end users.
Install and maintain operating systems, software applications, and security updates.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on end-user devices.
Provide technical support and guidance to end users via phone, email, or in-person.
Assist with the setup and configuration of email accounts, printers, and other peripherals.
Implement security measures and policies to protect end-user devices and data.
Educate end users about technology best practices and provide training as needed.
Document technical issues, solutions, and troubleshooting steps.
Stay updated about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in end-user computing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant work experience can be considered.
Proven experience as an End User Computer Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of end-user computing.
Proficiency in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting computers and laptops.
Experience with operating systems (Windows, MacOS) and software applications.
Knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to delivering exceptional user support.
Excellent communication skills to provide clear and effective technical assistance.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
