SOLUTION ARCHITECT

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and development teams, to understand business requirements and technical objectives.
• Design end-to-end technical solutions that align with business goals and ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Develop and present architectural proposals, including technical designs, system components, data models, and integration strategies.
• Lead the selection of appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks to meet project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural principles.
• Conduct code reviews, performance analysis, and technical audits to maintain high coding standards and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, making informed decisions to address challenges and obstacles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of components and alignment with overall architecture.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation, diagrams, and guidelines for development teams.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation.
• Mentor and coach development teams, fostering technical growth and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with project managers to provide technical insights for project planning and estimation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or similar role in software development.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Proficiency in programming languages, frameworks, and tools relevant to the projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design creative and innovative solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills to convey technical concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Leadership skills with the capacity to guide, inspire, and mentor development teams.
• Experience in conducting code reviews, performance analysis, and technical audits.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Enthusiasm for staying updated with the latest technology trends and emerging tools.
